digital age classroom I'm a digital age teacher these are the opportunities I am a digital age leader hello my name is Steve Simpson I am the proud principal I want to talk to you today about our orientation process of getting your child find me intracerebral and sign up for your orientation time and day and it all could be done from the actual link and form time school begins on August 4th we will welcome you here at San Jacinto Technologies hello and welcome to our sjt I informational virtual needing as noted in our video My name is Simpsons principal of San Jacinto technology Institute and I look forward to Bringing many new and exciting activities and programs to our school and our families as we move forward with our vision here that's jaytech our goal today is to provide you with the necessary information to make a family decision in regards to enrolling your student has a task jti and to discuss the simple steps you will need to take to sign your student up as a PowerSchool ysj t.i. since March of 2020 many families who had previously not consider online schooling are now more comfort with the concept I also want to point out the significant Improvement of online learning that occurs today as opposed to online learning during the shutdown of March 2020 rsj Tech teachers and staff have become experts in the virtual setting and are able to enhance the learning opportunities of students as compared to the traditional learning environment we understand that each of our current s j Tech families have made a personal. Asian to enroll their students and online learning and many of you are making that choice today as we speak well the reasons vary the commonality is a choice to keep your student learning at home a task jaytech this Choice includes endless learning experiences and an education that is unlike any other here in the San Jacinto Unified School District AR school provides all students with unique opportunities ones that are flexible and student-centered and offers specialized learning platforms and programs that meet the needs of all of our students in addition our highly qualified staff will ensure all students a rigorous instructional model using the district adopted Core Curriculum and ensuring more focus on the specific needs of your student as compared to the traditional model we are proud to be able to call ourselves a school choice one with a school a small what connection that offers our students a safe and positive learning environment today we aim to answer any questions you may have and to help you decide if that's jtekt is the right choice for your family sure hope it is and look forward to meeting each and every one of you at orientation ultimate Vision at s j Tech is to provide High technological opportunities for students with real world connections and endless opportunities that will meet the market needs of our students After High School our goal a task jtac is to prepare students to be college and career-ready just like traditional models of schooling do although we are a virtual school we are looking forward to many more on-campus opportunities in order to engage our Learners and enrich our virtual classroom instruction with Hands-On opportunity to grow our goal here. paycheck is to provide our students the same social and educational experiences that traditional schools offer the difference is a hybrid experience where students have the option of many in person enrichment activities in robotics indoor drone green screen video recording Sports intramural sports Field Days leadership groups in various other learning lab that teachers are create in order to provide unique opportunities for students s j Tech Student Success requires that parents guardians or caregivers play a significant role as knowledgeable teaching assistant s j Tech will be offering for parent workshops designed to support parents of online Learners during the 2223 school year which will be offered both virtually and in purse to help families better support their students with the digital tools used in the online platform our goal is to partner with parents and allow them to become more connected to our school and their students education these evenings will allow parents to participate and technology workshops and to see and use the specific technology platforms their students use each and every day in addition our planned evenings will allow students to Showcase their talents and work as they demonstrate their learning it is our hope to encourage all parents the opportunity to be involved in their students education and help us here at sjpii Builder identity as a high-tech learning opportunity for kids successful s j Tech students have the motivation commitment organizational and academic skills necessary to work independently if this sounds like the will for you here are the steps to enroll first add your student to our interest list and schedule an orientation a link is being dropped into the chat room now next bring your student to the orientation meeting you choose from the interest list and sign a 2020 to 2023 contract more specific information regarding the learning environment and X what stations will be provided at orientation our team works with your students current sjusd elementary or middle school to move their student information into our database July 28th or 29th come from materials distribution so you have everything you need for the first day of school school dance jtac begins on August 4th at 8:30 a.m. finally student is not yet enrolled in any sjusd school you will need to begin with our district Enrollment Center once enrolled you can schedule your s j Tech orientation the link to our Enrollment Center is and dropped into the chat room now at this time I want to thank you for listening to the informational meeting if you have any further questions or needed information please contact our school and people and staff here can help you with that information have a great day
