Principal's Message

Welcome to San Jacinto Technology Institute — an online K-8 school available to all students in the San Jacinto Unified School District.

At SJ Tech, we believe every child is unique. That’s why we offer a learning experience that fits each student’s strengths, interests, and learning style. Whether it’s through virtual classrooms, hands-on projects, or customized lessons, our goal is to help every child do their best and feel confident in their abilities.  We also care about more than just schoolwork. We want our students to feel safe, supported, and part of a caring community. Our team works hard to make sure students feel encouraged to be themselves, take on challenges, and learn important skills they’ll use in the real world.

SJ Tech offers a strong academic program that follows the district’s curriculum. Even though we’re a virtual school, we create a small-school feel where students get personal attention and build positive relationships with teachers. We focus on building not just knowledge, but also the technology skills kids need for future jobs and college.

We know that family support plays a big role in student success. That’s why we invite parents, guardians, and caregivers to be part of the journey. Our hybrid enrichment labs—combining online and in-person activities—are a great way for families to stay involved and connected. Your voice matters here, and we’re always looking for ways to work together to improve the school experience.
