Independent Study 2nd-8th grades

Independent Study is available to grades 2nd-8th at SJTech. Students participating in online independent study courses will have specific daily and weekly work completion requirements.

 

Independent Study students meet with their assigned teacher weekly at a scheduled appointment via Google Meet. ADDITIONALLY, all 2nd and 3rd grade Independent Study students also receive daily live instruction in Literacy and Mathematics via Google Meet.

 

All students at SJTech participate in Independent PE, for a minimum of 100 minutes per week at grades K-6 and 200 minutes per week for grades 7-8. Participation in physical education activity is required to be recorded by the student/family and submitted weekly to the master teacher.
