Schedule an appointment to register your SJUSD TK-8th grade student to attend SJTech by calling our office at 951-929-1540. Appointments are typically scheduled for the following day. Appointments last 10-15 minutes and must be attended by the student and their parent/guardian. During the appointment you will learn about the learning options available at SJTech, sign an Independent Study contract, and receive the learning materials your student needs to immediately begin learning with us. MASKS ARE REQUIRED.
Distance Learning, including daily, live instruction with a teacher and classmates is available to students in grades TK-8.
Independent Study is available to grades 2nd-8th. Independent Study students meet with their assigned teacher weekly at a scheduled appointment either in-person or via Zoom/Google Meet. ADDITIONALLY, all 2nd and 3rd grade Independent Study students also receive daily live instruction in Literacy and Mathematics via Zoom / Meet.
All SJTech students are invited to participate in the Learning Labs of their choice. Learning Labs include enrichment opportunities offered either online or in-person, once per week. Your teacher will provide a Learning Lab schedule. Offerings change throughout the year, and will include a rich variety of content including coding, robotics, career exploration, makerspace, creative arts and crafts, movement, outdoor learning, and more.
