An exercise you can do daily is introduce words that mean the opposite of; not.  


"Not" family words often begin with the prefixes: un-, dis-, non-, il-, im-, in-, or ir-


agree becomes disagree

logical becomes illogical

perfect becomes imperfect

visible becomes invisible

regular becomes irregular

fiction becomes nonfiction

afraid becomes unafraid

NOT family prefixes
 
Over & Under Family Prefixes

Prefixes in the Over & Under family modify words to mean more than/above or too little/below.
 
hyper + alert = hyperalert
hyper + active = hyperactive
over + crowding = overcrowding
super + hero = superhero
hypo + thermic = hypothermic
under + valued = undervalued
sub + terranean = subterranean
