Course Descriptions
Sports (K-8) with Mr. Simpson - outdoor play based on student interest, to include basketball, pickleball, and more!
Handprint Art (K-2) with Mrs. Phelps
Edison Robots (K-2) with Mrs. Barnett - using Block Coding, students will program robots to navigate a course they design.
Art (3-5) with Ms. Beloua - students will work on their poster contest entry for the "Celebrate Life. Live Drug Free" and other fall themed art. Materials pickup at school office, TBA
The Art of Conversation (3-8) with Mrs. Barnett - We are preparing for and participating in a wide range of conversations including introducing ourselves and others, asking questions to find commonalities, and giving good directions.
Digital Animation (3-5) with Mrs. Ocegueda
Gardening (K-5) with Mrs. Slater - Mrs. Slater's group (K-5) will build a terrarium.
Gardening (6-8) Mr. Ojeda - Middle School students are planting and maintaining our school garden.
Yoga Online (6-8) with Mrs Ellis via Google Meet
National History Day Projects (online) with Mrs. Ramirez - National History Day projects with Mrs. Ramirez - Students will research and create a project of their choice (documentary, exhibit, paper, performance, website) for this year's National History Day competition on "Frontiers in History: People, Places, Ideas". This is an ongoing Learning Lab that will culminate in students submitting their projects for competition in the District competition, with the opportunity to advance to the Riverside County and California state competitions. This Learning Lab will run on Wednesdays from October 5th through February 8th.
Robotics (6-8) with Mrs. Bourbeau - We will be programming moving robots using coding and cardboard
